StephanieStephanie Sigman, a Mexican-American actress. Her debut role was in the 2011 Mexican crime-drama film Miss Bala. Also, she was in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). Sigman was a prominent character in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both of the series. Sigman was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico, to a Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, a New York Yankees scout from Kansas. By virtue of her father, she's an U.S. citizen. [2][3][4]She is an U.S. citizen through her father. The brother of her and baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman married actress Barbara Mori Sigman. Before making her debut in film at Rio de Oro, she began her career as Mexican television star. She was the main role of Laura Guerrero (Miss Bala) in the Mexican crime-drama. The film was chosen for consideration as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards. However, it was not on the final cut. 9 Sigman was nominated for the Dublin Film Critics' Circle Award in 2011 for her performance in the film. The following year, she played Catalina Aguado in the Canadian documentary film Flight of the Butterflies. In 2013, Sigman starred with Pioneer the film, which was a Norwegian thriller.
